Re-scheduling of the Panam Sports Training Camp due to the Postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Based on a memorandum signed on November 24, 2018, with the Pan American Sports Organization (Panam Sports) and Tachihi Holdings Co., Ltd, in cooperation with Tachikawa City and the Tachikawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for the “Training camp for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games” organized by Panam Sports in Tachikawa City, we have been making various preparations for the Training Camp and related exchange programs focusing on sports.
The Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games has been postponed to July 2021, due to the global outbreak and spread of the new coronavirus infection.
We plan to hold the Training Camp for Panam Sports in July 2021, in line with the new schedule for the Tokyo 2020 Games.
The plans for the Training Camp will be announced with discussions with Panam Sports.
